Mariana Kouloumian is an associate attorney at Boyamian Law Partners, LLP. After graduating from California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A. in English Literature, Mariana continued her studies at Southwestern Law School, where she earned her law degree in 2019, among many educational recognitions.
During her time at Southwestern, Mariana became passionate about the area of family law. In pursuit of that passion, Mariana had the honor of working directly with the Honorable Amy J. Pellman in family court. During her time in family court, she was privileged to review pleadings, and witness proceedings regarding custody, support, division of property issues, among other family law matters. She was also given the opportunity to assist pro per individuals in filling out judicial forms, and explaining to them the process of their family law matter.
Furthermore, Mariana was also given the opportunity to intern in Chicago, Illinois for judges in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Domestic Relations Division. Working with a division of judges that heard both pre-judgment and post-judgment cases allowed Mariana to fully understand the process, prior to the finalization of the divorce and after the entry of judgment. Serving as a judicial intern in a different state strengthened her legal research and writing skills, as well as her adaptability to new experiences and challenges. This internship further solidified Mariana’s decision to work in the area of Family Law after passing the California Bar.
Currently, Mariana takes great pride in helping clients navigate through the most difficult time of their lives. Mariana’s past experiences and knowledge of family law allows her to approach each matter differently as no family law case is the same.
